OPENING THE TERRACE: From Terrace to Tranquility
One of the most delicate challenges of Project Eden was the transformation of the existing terrace a small, fragmented outdoor area into a seamless extension of the interior. We approached it as an architectural gesture of expansion, light, and flow.
The terrace was fully enclosed with transparent glass doors, allowing natural light to pour in while creating a visual continuity with the rest of the apartment. This move was not just functional, it was poetic. By integrating the terrace, we expanded the square meters of the home and gave birth to a multifunctional guest bedroom that offers far more than meets the eye.
Designed as a spa-inspired retreat, this intimate room blends light oak paneling, travertine-toned surfaces, and gentle lighting to evoke a sense of stillness and warmth. At its center is a bespoke sofa that effortlessly transforms into a bed an elegant nod to versatility within small space interior design. Every material, from the soft upholstery to the natural textures, was chosen to create an atmosphere of retreat a place to rest, breathe, and unwind.
The result is a room that feels like a private spa within the home, where Marbella sunlight, earthy materials, and tailored design come together in quiet harmony. What once was an unused outdoor corner is now a sanctuary both functional and deeply soulful.
